We're a Southland dairy farming business, operating twenty four dairy farms, six supporting farms, and producing around 7.7 million KgMS annually. Our success is built on the back of a team of 150 farmers, many of whom are graduates of the Fortuna Academy, our in-house training programme.

OUR
MISSION
Enriching The World & Generating Opportunities
This is how we plan to achieve success for farming as an industry and as individual Fortuna farmers. It’s what we’re constantly working towards and we’re proud of what we've achieved so far.
Enriching the world. Our well-cared for animals enjoy shade, shelter, and an abundance of high-quality pasture. This forms the backbone of sustainable food production; we are committed to playing our part in feeding the world. As we grow, we become better farmers and, more importantly, better people, who are enriching the world.
Generating Opportunities. Our commitment to generating opportunities starts with helping our people grow to their full potential. We train and support our team to be great at what they do and provide them with opportunities to grow personally and professionally. We also ensure that driven employees have the chance to share in our success and grow their own wealth. With collective growth, success from our hard work is shared by all.
Good Custodians of The Land
We're farming for the future. We like to think about 100 years time, and this helps us do the right thing around water, soil and climate. We are custodians of the land and want to improve it for the next generation. We've planted 15,000 native plants across our farms, have created many nutrient sinks, and have comprehensive nutrient management to ensure we are putting nutrients in the right place.
