The Farm
Mahia is a leased property 56ks south of Gore and 72km East of Invercargill in the Mokoreta district.
Predominate soil type is Kaiwera with Hinahina Hill covering a minor area within the Catlin’s Conservation Park. Mokoreta has a typical climate of coastal Southland with an average annual rainfall of approximately 1200mm.
The farm’s 850 cows are milked through a 64 bale rotary shed.
Mahia was the Core Values Award Winner at the 2022 Fortuna Annual Awards.
