The Farm

This 284-hectare dairy farm is located in the Kamahi district of eastern Southland, an area well regarded for its suitability to dairying. The property features predominantly flat contour with deep, fertile soils and a reliable climate, making it well suited to seasonal supply systems. The overall layout is efficient, with well-sized paddocks, reticulated water, and a well-formed network of races.

Infrastructure is designed to support consistent production, including a 54-bail rotary milking shed of good capacity, a range of supporting farm buildings including 2 x Herd Homes which shelter 150 cows each during the winter season. Pastures are well maintained, and the farm operates on a medium supplement import system to achieve stable production outcomes.
