The Farm
Aroya is a dairy farm operation based just 29km from Invercargill in Central Southland. Its 201 hectares are made up of Pukemutu and Otahuti soil. The cool temperate climate of Central Southland offers reliable summer rainfall with an average annual rainfall of 1,132mm. Aroya’s 570 cows are milked through a centrally located 50 bail rotary cowshed.
2017 was a success season for Aroya, taking out the Financial Management Award and Supreme award at the annual Fortuna Awards.
