Financial Accountant

As we continue to grow, we're investing in the capability of our finance team and are looking for a talented Financial Accountant to join us.

Working alongside our Chief Financial Officer, you'll play an important role in strengthening financial capability across the business by delivering trusted financial information, improving reporting, and supporting the systems that enable smarter decision-making. Finance at Fortuna is more than reporting numbers—it's about providing the insight and confidence our leaders need to make great decisions, from our farms through to our Board.

You'll be involved in a broad range of financial and commercial activities, including:

• Financial reporting and month-end processes

• Preparation of statutory financial statements

• External audit coordination and compliance

• Budgeting and forecasting

• Financial modelling and analysis

• Business performance reporting

• Finance systems and process improvement

• Commercial projects and continuous improvement initiatives

You're someone who enjoys solving problems, improving systems, and turning financial information into meaningful business insight. You are technically capable, naturally curious, and enjoy working collaboratively with others. You take pride in producing accurate work and are looking for a role where you can continue to develop professionally while making a genuine impact on the business.

• A tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline

• CA or CPA qualification (or be actively working towards it)

• Experience preparing financial statements

• Experience with month-end reporting and reconciliations

• Exposure to audit and statutory reporting

• Financial analysis and reporting experience

• Experience in a commercial or multi-entity environment will be highly regarded
